Slipperworld: News

We are currently in production with Derek Krogh's second CD...a follow up to Banjomatic recorded up here in 2002. This new project is slated for release this fall and includes an awesome list of players including James Nash (Waybacks), Chris Kee (Houston Jones), Ken Owen (Peter Rowan, Jim Campilongo).
Also will be doing a 3rd project with Michael Kenny, a fabulous upright bass player doing instrumental jazz tunes. will feature Ken Owen on drums & Duncan James on guitar. This will be recorded 'live' in the room to Sonoma with no edits or overdubs. Very cool.
Will also be finishing up mixes for the David Elias & the Casualties recorded live @ the San Gregorio Store back in April of '07...i know, a year is too long...

Slipperworld rates are $45 per hr. w/ a 6 hr. daily minimum. That includes me, the room & the gear. Adjustmens can be made for larger, longer projects. I have fantastic gear, particularly mics & mic pre's. I am currently working w/ Cakewalk's Sonar for most things...and obviously love using Sonoma (see link) when the project & budget justify. I am also available for live, off site recording projects and live sound reinforcement work, rates for which vary...
